Bolbitis heudelotii is not available often – Please contact us for more information
Out of stock
Bolbitis heudelotii is a slow growing amphibious fern and can survive under very weak light. However, it is most beautiful under bright light. Leaves grown under bright lights are small and compact while leaves grown under low lights are long and big but sparse.
High water temperatures will usually cause the plants to wither and burn. Growth is optimal by supplying a current, CO2 and soft, slightly acidic water. Care must be taken not to cover the rhizome as it will rot. The common method is to tie them to wood or rocks. It is most often used in the background of an aquarium to form a dark green forest.
